CUET, KUET and RUET combined admission test on 13 November

Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) and Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) for the upcoming 2020-21 academic year undergraduate first year/Level-1 integrated admission test on November 13 (Saturday) , Will be held in the respective university campuses from 10 a.m. On the occasion of the integrated admission test, a coordination meeting was held on Sunday afternoon, November 7, with the representatives of the law enforcement agencies, various service organizations and institutions. The coordination meeting was held at The Institution of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB) in Chittagong, CUET Resource Center in Chittagong. CUET VC Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam presided over the meeting. On the occasion of the upcoming admission test, the Vice-Chancellor of CUET sought the cooperation of the CUET administration on the law and order situation and traffic control and overall security measures with the representatives of various government and non-government service organizations. The meeting was chaired by the President of the Central Admission Committee and Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Professor Dr. Md. Moinul Islam, CUET registrar (additional responsibilities) Professor Dr. Faruk-uz-Zaman Chowdhury, Deputy Director (Public Relations) Mr. Mohammad Fazlur Rahman, Assistant Director (Security) Md. Anisuzzaman Khan were present. Besides, representatives of various service organizations and institutions were present at the meeting. A total of 25,647 candidates will take part in this year's admission test against 901 seats of CUET, 1,065 seats of KUET and 1,235 seats of RUET for a total of 3,201 seats. A total of 22,610 candidates will participate in Group A (Engineering Departments and Urban and Regional Planning Departments) and a total of 3,037 candidates will participate in Group B (Engineering Departments, Urban and Regional Planning Departments and Architecture Departments). Of these, 7,455 candidates in 'A' category and 1,045 candidates in 'B' category, a total of 8,500 candidates in CUET center, 6,963 candidates in 'A' category in CUET center and 984 candidates in 'B' category, RUET center. 8 thousand 192 candidates will participate in A category and 1 thousand 8 candidates will participate in B category. In MCQ system, the examination of 'A' section will be held continuously from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and the examination of 'B' section will be held continuously from 10.00 am to 01.45 pm.
